TwitRep is an experimental reputation system built on top of Twitter. It uses conversations between users to determine contextual reputation in lists. That is, for any given topic (for example: “Geopolitics”), which users are considered most reputable within the context of a list?

The users with the top results will have a badge displayed next to their profile. It’s possible to see which tweets led to a high reputation by clicking on it.
